Each year the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) runs tests for the top safety picks, and this year Toyota earned more awards than any other automaker.

“Safety is a core value that dates back to the foundation of our company. IIHS’ awards further recognize our commitment to helping protect drivers and passengers,” Steve St. Angelo, executive vice president of Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing North America, Inc. said, in a released statement.
